Super Junior's "No Other" MV

HOOOOOLY OMG... Super Junior just killed me. Seriously just fucking knocked me out with their adorable sweetness. The "No Other" music video is the cutest thing I've seen since, Jesus I don't even KNOW.

So, the spazzing pretty much started at 0:07, the second I saw Eunhyuk. Yeah that's right only 7 damn seconds into the video I was freaking out.

Siwon's dimples are only rivaled by Leeteuk's. Omg look at them =X, 0:17! Then he kneels down and ties her shoe?! So cute T_______T!

Yesung, using the time tested woman killer, good looking man + children.

Ryeowook, so cute ^_^ I'll let you wash my car~!

Donghae, looking shy and adorable with a rose? NEED I SAY MORE?

Kyuhyun's voice is hot in and of itself, but add on top of it him doing something ridiculously romantic like confessing to a girl with a giant heart he made with sheets of paper, and it sends me into like shameless fangirl breakdown.

Heechul writing a love letter in a library? FANTASTIC. Even his blonde hair looks good here, which is f-ing miracle I'll say. Also, loving his fly shades. Work it Heechul, work it.

This. Is. Where. I. Lost. It. I saw Eunhyuk start to unbutton his shirt, then was disappointed they only showed him from the back... but then... BUT THEN. Yessssssssss =D him dancing in all his ridiculously hot body glory. I pretty much almost screamed/squealed outloud at this point.

Sungmin as always is looking cutie =).

Shindong as we already know is a master of confession. Proposing to his girlfriend on the album hmmm!?

LEETEUK DIMPLE <3333

More Eunhyuk dancing T_T oh god, the smile is too much. TOO MUCH. His rap. LOVE. 3:39 that adorable ass smile and lip bite. Fine Eunhyuk, do it, just kill us! At least all the fangirls will die happy right?!

Super Junior is seriously the master of cute MVs. Anyone remember the "Happiness" MV?!

Taeyang's Solar is HERE!

So I just finished listening to the whole album, the first time through. For each track I typed my reaction literally AS I was listening to it. Hence, why random favorite lines/spazzes break out lol! Please excuse any typos and/or grammar issues XD I was excited! Here's a link to the Omona article with Youtube vids of all the new tracks: Youtube Tracks

1. Solar (Intro)

EEEE Okay we all know I love this one cause when it came out as the first teaser I listened to like 10 times in a row. As always I wish SO HARD the intro was a full song, cause intros in kpop are always fantastic. L-O-V-E it. Even his accented English is full on love.

2. Superstar

Definitely not the kind of sound I was expecting from Taeyang, a little more upbeat and pop than smooth R&B, but I'm still feeling it. Has a definite MJ influence. Can I just say I love Taeyang's voice? It only gets better the longer he's a singer seriously. Oh f- the briiiiidge!!! SO GOOD. This MUST be performed live. MUST.

3. I Need a Girl (feat. G-Dragon)

I'm iffy about the title of this song. Sounds a little desperate >_>... I'm really liking the sound of the chorus. I think the tone of the song really matches the title though. His voice has a really innocent sound to it. Not sure how I'm feeling about GD's rap though... I mean I think his line "I. Love. Girls." kinda... is ruining the feel of the song? It's not a "I love 'dem bitches" song it's a "damn I'm lonely..." haha.

4. Just a Feeling

This is totally the Taeyang I know and love. A little dancey, but still strong vocals. ... "I want to make love to you, say my name." Okay thousands of girls ovaries just EXPLODED O_O.

5. You're My

This is the kind of song that makes you go "*sigh* Taeyang is sooo dreamy." haha This should totally be performed live too. Tae on the piano, laying out this song would be a women killer.

6. Move (feat. Teddy)

LOL! Teddy: "But don't get this shit twisted. This is for the ladies." This chorus of this song will be stuck in my head for the next week!

7. Break Down

This song would sound great blasted in the car. Loving it. I want to see him dance to this song. Wouldn't that be the hottest/cutest thing ever? I dunno I just think it would make for some really good choreography...

8. After You Fall Asleep (feat. Swings)

This song I've only head 40 seconds and it's fantastic. Taeyang you know what? You ARE fly like a bird. I think this would make for a GREAT music video.

9. Where U At

We all already know this one. It's a good song, not my favorite Taeyang song, but still got a ton of listens from me =).

10. Wedding Dress

I love this song. The MV always makes me feel a little sad, especially near at end where he says "Shoulda been me" T_T. Oh Taeyang =(.

11. Take It Slow

The sound of the song is perfect for the last track on the album. Really relaxing and smooth. The bridge in this song is great too. I often loves the bridges in songs best though haha.

Overall, I give this album a 9/10 there were a FEW spots that were iffy to me, but on the whole it was GREAT. Basically, I will playing the hell out of this album. Taeyang's voice is addicting, and there was a perfect mix of fast, dancey, slow, and simple songs, and just enough featuring of other artists to keep it interesting yet still very Taeyang. I also like there wasn't a ton of filler songs, only mere 2 songs we'd already heard, and NO instrumental/remix tracks! This album definitely lived up to the high expectations I had for my favorite member of Big Bang <3.

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 18

Day 18: A kpop idol you wish was your younger sibling

The cutest, most talented, little teenage girl... IU! Could this girl get any cuter? I just wanna pinch her round little cheeks XD!

Her voice is incredible. She's just like bursting with natural talent. While she's adorable and her newer songs are sugary candy cute, I wish she would go back to things like her first single "MIA". Watch, love, be amazed:

She's also awesome because despite the fact she's insanely talented, she still fangirls like everyone else. She's openly talked about how she loves Taeyang, and purposely tries to promote when he does too lol! So cute =)!

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 17

Day 17: A kpop idol you wish was your older sibling

Technically she's not an idol, buuut I'd choose Lee Hyori =)!

She's a really confident and funny person, and if she was an older sister I think she'd always try and help you out in a pinch. She's always really nice/helpful to the younger kpop idols too.

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 16

Day 16: Your favorite kpop lyric (and a translation)

If I want to be shallow, Khun's line in "All Night Long" heh heh

"I'll take you to my room"

I like CL's parts in "I Don't Care" by 2NE1 too.

"Sometimes you gotta act like you don't care,
It's the only way these boys learn..."

"You fooled me with your lies hundreds of times,
From today on, I'll be a bad girl who makes guys cry,
Now without a single tear I'll laugh at you"

Usually I don't really MEMORIZE the lyrics. I just remember the general meaning of the song. I really like the meaning behind "Huh" by 4minute about acting and looking the way you want, and ignoring people who tell you to be a certain way. The lyrics to "How Did We Get" by Lee Hyori feat. Daesung are really cute too. Also I already mentioned here that I love the lyrics to "Why I Like You" by Super Junior (lyrics) because I think I'd die if any man said all those things to me XD. Some songs just have really pretty lyrics too like pretty much all of 8eight's title tracks.

So there are some I like, I don't really have a favorite~!

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 15

Day 15: A kpop song that reminds you of someone you miss

This isn't really a kpop song, but a kpop idol cover. Onew's cover of "Forever More" is a song that reminds me of someone I miss sometimes~

Watch Forever More (Onew Solo) Madame B in World | View More Free Videos Online at Veoh.com

Onew has such a great voice and his engrish is minimal which of course makes it even better. Just more evidence that he is, the best member of SHINee =).

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 14

Day 14: A kpop song that makes you smile

Ah... *sigh* the beginning of it all. I already mentioned the first kpop song I ever heard was "O - Jung. Ban. Hap." by DBSK, but that isn't really what got me hooked on kpop. After watching "O" a couple times I decided to search for more DBSK MVs so, it was the NEXT song I heard from DBSK that did it. Right after I watched it, I started freaking out, my first fangirl attack XD.

I believe that DBSK's acapella singing has some sort of hypnotic power, because when I started watching this MV I seriously stopped, ignored everything else, and just stared. All IMs were ignored, my mother disregarded, etc.

"My Little Princess" always makes me smile, because it reminds me of everything I love about DBSK. They look much different now, than they did in that MV, but they're still the same in a way. Most importantly the way they sound in that MV is how they sound in real life.

That's why it makes me so sad they might be disbanded for good. They compliment each other so well and have so much talent it's terrible they might not all work together again. They're all good separately, or in smaller groups, but they're at their absolute best when all 5 of them are together.

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 13

Day 13: A kpop group you dislike and why

So this was kind of hard because honestly if I'm not interested in a group I just flat out ignore them. I don't actively dislike them. I only spend time on the groups/artists I actually like. So, instead I picked a group based on the fact their song irritates me.

"Magic" by Secret annoys me, because they say "magic", "mazik" ... okay I understand Korean's have problems with some words. We've all encountered some bad engrish, but it's the TITLE of their song and they couldn't get that one word down? They say it over and over and over in the song too! I dunno the whole tone of the song annoys me XD.

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 12

Day 12: The very first kpop song you ever heard

The very first kpop song (though technically it was in Japanese? There's a Korean version though...) I ever heard was "O - Jung. Ban. Hap." by DBSK. I didn't even like it at first. I told my friend it reminded me too much of the Backstreet Boys... but then for some reason I kept watching it. The next day I watched it again, and again. It snuck up on me =). That's not what REALLY got me into kpop though... I'll save that for another day~

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 11

Day 11: Your favorite k-pop music video

Omg tough choice! Okay, to decide I just watched at least 10-12 kpop MVs in a row, but in the end I'm just gonna blab about a lot of them LOL! Feel free to skip the ones you've seen before (which will probably be most of them if you're a big kpop fan).

Okay first off, a lot of kpop MVs seem to just be "eye candy" MVs where all they shoot are the members/artists singing/dancing to the song. BOOOOR-IIIIING. I love kpop but sometimes the MVs really suck I gotta say. There are a lot of gems though.

Taeyang always makes EXCELLENT music videos! "Wedding Dress" and "Only Look At Me" were great. Just thinking about it makes me ridiculously excited for his solo comeback. It's going to be epic, and I will obsessed and drool on my keyboard as I watch the MV and all the following performances. Seriously, I'm kinda flipping out after being reminded of how fantastic this guy is *explodes*!

The girl in this MV is insane for choosing Taeyang's "friend" over Taeyang himself. Would I rather have the averagely good looking friend who's always butting into other's private time, or would I rather have quiet, dead-sexy-in-a-leather-jacket Taeyang, who can compose songs and play the piano (and dance like a smooth mofo)? Exactly.

Okay next up is SHINee. Sadly, the only REALLY good song and MV they've done is "Noona You're So Pretty (Replay)". The choreography was cute, they were cute kids trying to swoon their noona, and it was working! Fabulously!

Onew is so f-ing cute it's silly. It's good I have little to no chance of ever meeting him cause he would own me like mind control. I'd be a sucker for him, and probably buy him anything he asked. I'd be his noona <3!

And last, is the group 8eight. I like all their MVs really, but my top one would be "Goodbye My Love". It's heartwrenchingly sad, and the acting is really good. I tear basically every time I watch it, which has been at least like 8+ times now.

The way Jinwoon says "saranghae" (I love you) just kills me T_T.

Of course there are other MVs I love too like "So Hot" by the Wonder Girls. I love watching them make fun of people with princess complexes XD. Also, many-a-MV from DBSK because they always make me happy. Big Bang has some really good ones too. My favorite probably being "Haru Haru". Aaaah I wish I could post them allllll!

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 10

Day 10: A k-pop dance you’d like to learn

There's a couple dances I really like, but if I could learn one it'd be the choreography for "Run Devil Run" - SNSD. Unfortunately that was only really good part of this song XD.

Other dances I really like is 4minute's "Huh", Hyunah's "Change", Brown Eyed Girl's "Abracadabra", and KARA's "Mister". "Mister" is probably the best *literal* butt shaking ever~

KPop 30 Day Challenge - Day 9

Day 9: Your favorite kpop performance

I think I have some unusual picks for this, and I think I'm missing some. Anyway, I have a few favorite performances. Some of them are...

After School when they danced to "Lipgloss"/"Wall to Wall" at the Star Dance battle. They showed off what I like about them most, that they're girls, cute, and hot, but actually dance. They don't just fluff/walk around stage:

Technically this one is in Japanese but still kpop group. Their harmonization was just perfect in this every. single. time. DBSK - "Love In the Ice":

This one has less to do with the performance (even though it was good), and more to do with the fact I just LOVE the song. The lyrics sound so sincere, but maybe I'm just a fangirl XD? Super Junior when they performed "Why I Like You":

Another random one is when Tiffany (SNSD) sang "All I Want for Christmas is You" on a radio show. I like it just because she belted it out so perfectly but made it look ridiculously easy. Like she could just be singing in her bathroom at home, but she sounds just like Mariah Carey!:

So those are *some* of my favorites. An odd collection maybe, but I think that's why kpop is fun. You never know when someone is gonna have a shining moment.
